What are your expectations of our new President Barack Obama?
I am a bit skeptical to say the least. Especially, when someone talked so much about change we can believe in, and to end the Washington politics as usual together with no lobbyists in his new administration. However, every Obama appointee to date seems to be a "Clinton era re-thread." All former Clinton insiders from Washington returning for another go at us. Boy, when will Americans learn that all these presidential promises are "outright lies" and that we honestly need a viable third party alternative in order to keep the other two parties honest and to hold them to their word.

This is true, please read the different stories and decide for yourself. It happened to them three weeks ago somewhere in Pomona on our way to Pechanga. The pump should have totaled @ $68.00 (and change). When the receipt was printed, and she checked it was $ 77.00 (and change).
She got mad, went inside the store, asked for a calculator and let them do the math. They refunded her. she told them that if they cheat, they had better make it right. Normally, her husband would skip printing the receipt. Not her……
We saw on the news the other night that this is happening everywhere.
Brian pumped exactly one gallon of gas. The price did not match the cost of one gallon. It was higher. He went inside and complained, got a refund.
There is also a number on each pump that you can call and complain.
This is a true story, so read it carefully.
On September 20, 2008, I stopped at a BP gas station in GA. My truck's gas gauge was on 1/4 of a tank. I use the mid-grade, which was priced at $3.71 per gallon. When my tank is at this point, it takes somewhere around 14 gallons to fill it up.
When the pump showed 14 gallons had been pumped, I began to slow it down. Then to my surprise, it went to 15, then 16. I even looked under my truck to see if it was being spilled. It was not.
Then it showed 17 gallons on the pump. It stopped at 18 gallons. This was very strange to me, since my truck has only an 18 gallon tank. I went on my way a little confused, then on the evening news I heard a report that 1 out of 4 gas
stations had calibrated their pumps to show more gas had been pumped than a person actually got.
Here is how to check a pump to see if you are getting the right amount:
Whichever grade you are using, put EXACTLY 10 GALLONS in your tank, then look at the dollar amount. If the dollar amount is not EXACTLY 10 times the price of the fuel you have chosen, then the pumps are rigged.
In my case, as I said, the mid-grade was $3.71 9/10 per gallon; my dollar amount for 10 gallons should have been $37.19. I wish I had checked the pump. It doesn't matter where you pump gas….please check the 10 gallon price. If you do find a station that is cheating, contact the state Agriculture Department, and direct your comments to the Commissioner…….the info is on the gas pumps.
Please don't delete this until you have sent it to all people in your
address book. We need to put a stop to this outrageous cheating of
customers. The gas companies are making enough profits at honest rates.

Father and Mother instilled in me the values and morals of treating people
fairly and always being honest. If you purchase something, you pay for it.
If you borrow something, you give it back.
I have been "stiffed" three times in my 30 year professional career by
someone whom I rendered services to, gave a finished product to, but who
refused to pay for those services even though they acknowledged the services and products were correct, were what they asked for, and were never
challenged for not being correct. I am lucky in having only three, but
those three hurt badly.
Joe Biden was one of those people. I worked on his 1988 Presidential
campaign financial disclosure engagement. I busted it for him and got
everything right. He stiffed me for over $15,000 worth of work. He refused
to pay once he dropped out of the race. I did similar Capitol Hill campaign
financial disclosure work for Bob Dole, Pat Buchanan, and a Democratic
candidate for Ambassador to New Zealand. All of those folks paid even
though they lost the election or did not get the appointment. That type of
work is very demanding and very tedious because your efforts are scrutinized
by Congress. Biden did not care.& lt;
I am on the Board of Directors of a company that owns a majority position in
a private jet management company in Northern Virginia. They manage jets for
businesses and rich folks. They also charter planes to the public. This
past winter John Thompson chartered over $250,000 worth of air time. He
paid every penny.
Joe Biden, in his latest unsuccessful run for President, chartered over
$150,000 worth of air time. He PAID ZERO. He continues to refuse to pay
stating his race is over and he is out of money. He never once complained
about his flights. Joe Biden is a rich man. He could pay.
Joe Biden is a liar and a cheat. I know it first hand. Character is what
life is all about. Joe Biden is a man of bad character and sets a bad
example for America.
I feel compelled to share this dark side of a man who asks for your vote and
trust.
